To clarify, Redmi Note 10 Pro, which is now available in Nepal, is named as Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in India. Redmi Note 10 Pro is the global variant of Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.
Design and Display
The previous iterations of the Redmi Note series were based on Aura design. However, with the Note 10 series, the company has brought a brand new design to the table. The company is calling the design “Evol” design. The design features a new camera module which is now on the left of the device and looks very similar to one on the new Redmi K40 Pro.
The Redmi Note series has finally upgraded to a smooth screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display is a 6.67 inch Super AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels in a tall 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The company claims that the device features the smallest notch on any Note series device.
Performance and Memory
Internally, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor with Adreno 618 GPU. It is available in three memory configurations of 6 GB RAM with 64/128 GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. As for the software, it runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
Camera
The new camera module on the back features a quad camera setup consisting of a 108 MP Samsung HM2 primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, 5 MP 2X telephoto lens which also doubles as a macro lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens with a 118-degree FOV, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
Upfront the selfie camera is a 16 MP primary sensor with an f/2.45 aperture. The rear camera setup on the device is capable of taking up to 4K videos at 30 fps. It can also take super slow-motion videos up to 960 fps.
Battery and Other Features
The Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) packs a massive 5020 mAH battery. It comes with a 33W fast charger adapter included inside the box. The device offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated with the power button. Other features include Hi-Res audio through dual stereo speaker setup and improved haptics.
