Redmi has added a new smartphone in its 10 Series as the Redmi Note 10T 5G. The company launched the Redmi Note 10T 5G on 26th July 2021 in India. The 10 Series of the brand already has a large family consisting of Redmi Note 10 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10s, Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, etc.
Remi Note 10T 5G is selling in India at INR 13,999 for the base variant, which is around NPR 22,357. Likewise, the price for the 6/128 GB variant is INR 15,999, which is around NPR 25,552. Accordingly, we expect the price of Redmi Note 10T 5G in Nepal to be somewhere around NPR 23,500 and NPR 27,500 for the 4/64 GB model and 6/128 GB model, respectively.
Redmi Note 10T 5G Overview
As always, Redmi has tried its best to give a good smartphone at an affordable price. Redmi Note 10T 5G has a good display, a better performance, and an impressive battery.
Design and Build Quality
Redmi Note 10T 5G sports an FHD+ IPS LCD display of 6.5-inches. The display has an adaptive refresh rate of 90Hz; it is 90Hz during scrolling and gaming, 60Hz during the streaming video, 50Hz during static display, and 30Hz during video playback.
It has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Similarly, it has a punch hole housing the front camera at the top center of the display.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G rear camera placement is similar to the other members of the Redmi Note 10 Series. It has a triple camera along with an LED flash. Redmi has given the design name “EVOL. Design.”
The smartphone’s design is not as impressive as the other smartphones like Poco M3 Pro 5G and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G.
The smartphone also has an IR blaster and a 3.5mm headphone jack. As per the brand, the device is splash-proof, has rubberized seals, and the ports are corrosion-proof. Likewise, Redmi Note 10T 5G is available in four color options: Graphite Black, Chromium White, Mint Green, and Metallic Blue.
Redmi Note 10T 5G has a fingerprint scanner embedded on the power button that lies on the right-hand side for biometrics. The smartphone weighs 190 grams.
Performance
Dimensity 700 SoC powers Redmi Note 10T 5G. It is built with 7nm Valhall architecture. Likewise, the octa-core chipset has two Cortex-A76 cores that clock at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores that clock at 2.0GHz.
The smartphone has memory configurations of 4 GB RAM with 64 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB ROM. It supports a dual 5G SIM. The smartphone employs a Mali G57 GPU, which clocks at 950MHz, to handle the graphics.
Redmi Note 10T 5G boots on Android 11 based on MIUI 12 out of the box. It supports GAME Turbo 3.0. Similarly, it also has Reading Mode 3.0 that is designed for eye comfort.
Camera
Redmi Note 10T 5G has a total of four cameras; three on the rear and a single front camera. The main camera of the smartphone is a 48 MP sensor. The other two cameras on the rear panel are a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor.
Some of the rear camera features are Portrait, Panorama, Pro Mode, Night Mode, Document mode, HDR, AI scene detection, Time burst, AI Watermark, Movie Frame, Pro Color, Color Focus, etc.
The rear camera can record the video in 1080p at 30fps and 720p at 30fps. Also, the slow-motion video is recordable in 720p at 120fps. Some rear camera video features are Short Video Mode, Time Lapse, Pro Mode, Movie frame, Macro video, Kaleidoscope, Slow motion, etc.
The smartphone possesses an 8MP front camera for video calling and taking selfies. Features of the front camera include Portrait, Auto HDR, AI Scene detection, Time burst, AI beauty mode, AI watermark, Movie Frame, and Palm Shutter.
Redmi Note 10T 5G can record the video in 1080p at 30fps and 720p at 30fps from the front camera. The features of front camera video are Short Video, Kaleidoscope, Movie frame, and Time Lapse.
Battery
Redmi Note 10T 5G packs a Li-Po 5,000 mAh battery. The battery supports 18W fast charging.
However, the adapter in the box is 22.5W. Redmi claims the battery to last for two days. Due to the “Valhall architecture,” the battery is 30% energy efficient.
