Realme had had significant growth in less than a year with its several smartphone launches in the mid-range segment. Realme emerged as one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands in the Indian market and is gaining quite a success in the Nepali market as well. The phones not only budget-friendly but also offer high-end specs with the addition of new exciting features. 1. Realme C2

The budget offering phone – Realme C2 is the successor to the Realme C1. The plastic body with a unique geometric design-cut pattern in the back gives it a premium look. The back panel has a dual-camera setup with a LED flash. In the front, Realme C2 features a 6.1-inch IPS LCD with a waterdrop-style notch for a selfie camera. The HD+ display comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.

The Realme C2 equips an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC built using a 12nm manufacturing process and IMG PowerVRGE8320 GPU. The performance is paired with either 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of onboard storage with a dedicated microSD card slot. The device runs on ColorOS 6.0 Lite with Android 9 on top.

Realme C2 packs a dual AI camera of 13MP primary sensor and 2MP depth sensor alongside an LED flash. Upfront, a 5MP selfie shooter sits inside the waterdrop-style notch. A considerable 4000mAh battery powers the phone that charges using a 10-Watt charger via a micro-USB.

2. Realme C3

Realme C3 comes with an upgrade over its predecessor Realme C2. It has a plastic back with a unique Sunrise design and flaunts a triple camera setup with a fingerprint sensor. The back camera packs a 12MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an additional 2MP macro sensor. The Realme C3 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a mini-drop notch that houses a selfie camera of a 5MP sensor. Also, you get a Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.

3. Realme C11

Realme C11 is another entry-level budget phone after Realme C3 and vouches for a good-enough gaming experience in the budget. It features the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC – an octa-core CPU based at 12nm technology and clocked at 2.3 GHz with the main focus on gaming at the budget segment. The performance side is complemented with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 2GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 32GB internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot.

The phone runs on Realme’s own Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10 OS. Realme C11 comes in a plastic body with a subtle texture of wavy lines in the back, giving the phone an attractive design. There is an AI dual-camera setup featuring a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a LED flash fitted inside the square-shaped camera module. Upfront, a 5MP AI selfie shooter sits inside a mini-notch. Powering the phone is a 5000 mAh battery with the support of a 10W charger. Unfortunately, the device does not support fast charging, and fueling up the device is a dated micro USB connection.

4. Realme 3

Priced between Realme’s Pro and C series, Realme 3 is the successor to the Realme 2 and offers an upgraded AI camera and new design in the budget. 

Realme 3 incorporates a seamless unibody design made with plastic and has a gradient color finish in the back. The front features a 6.22-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch and a sizeable chin. Besides, the phone runs on Android Pie with ColorOS 6 on top. Realme 3 packs a dual-camera setup comprising a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor with an LED flash. Upfront, the waterdrop notch houses a 13MP selfie snapper.

A 4320 mAh battery keeps the device running with the support of a 10W Charger inside the box. The battery life is good, but it does not have VOOC fast charging.

5. Realme 5

Realme introduced Realme 5 under the Realme 5-series of smartphones in Nepal, which brings a significant upgrade over its predecessor Realme 3 in its processing, camera, and battery power. The phone adopts a new crystal design – an upgrade from a classic diamond-cutting design. However, the body is plastic made with a polycarbonate finish. The main highlight is its vertically aligned quad-camera setup in the back.

To further enhance the performance, you get 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of integrated storage. Software-wise, the phone runs on ColorOS 6.0.1 with Android 9.

Featuring the AI Quad Camera setup, the phone packs a 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP macro sensor. Likewise, a 13MP selfie shooter sits inside the mini notch. The phone integrates a 5000 mAh battery but only supports a 10W charger supplied inside the box.

For security, Realme has included a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face-unlock feature. If you look at the specs and features the device is offering, Realme 5 is a good alternative to Redmi Note 8, but it loses in the pricing criteria.

6. Realme 5 Pro

Another phone under the Realme 5-series of smartphones is the Realme 5 Pro, which is an upgraded version of the Realme 5. The Realme 5 Pro also sports a new Crystal design with a plastic body and a polycarbonate finish.

The back features a quad camera setup, and the front comes with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display has a mini-drop notch that houses a 16MP selfie camera. For internals, the phone comes with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM paired with UFS 2.1 based 64GB/128GB internal storage and a dedicated microSDXC.

Realme 5 Pro runs on ColorOS 6 based on Android 9. A 4035 mAh battery fuels the device with the support for VOOC Flash Charge 3.0. Realme ships a 20W Fast Charger inside the box. Bringing a good deal in Nepal’s mid-range smartphone market, the phone directly competes with Redmi Note 8 Pro.

7. Realme 5i

Expanding the mid-range market segment, Realme 5i is the latest addition to the Realme 5-series of smartphones in Nepal. The phone shares similar specs and features to Realme 5. It has a plastic body with a plastic frame but features a new Sunrise design in the back. Like the Realme 5-series, it also boasts a quad-camera setup in the back.

On the front, Realme 5i includes a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with a mini waterdrop notch placing a selfie camera. The display panel sports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The main highlight is its AI Quad-camera setup as we get in the Realme 5. It comprises a 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP each depth sensor and macro sensor. A massive 5000 mAh battery gives an excellent battery life with reverse charging support, but it lacks fast charging. Realme ships a 10W Charger inside a box.

Realme 5i integrates the same 11 nm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE SoC – an octa-core CPU coupled with Adreno 610 GPU to deliver performance. For memory configuration, it gets a 4GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with 64GB ROM. Software-side, the device runs on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 OS.

8. Realme 6

Realme launched the Realme 6, a successor to Realme 5, under the Realme 6-series. For a mid-range smartphone, Realme 6 brings a lot to the table with enough upgrades over its predecessor. The phone presents a new Comet design built with the latest optical plating technology. It has a glossy finish plastic back and plastic frame with a splash-resistant design. 

The front equips a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate for an ultra-smooth experience. MediaTek Helio G90T (12nm) SoC – a gaming-focused octa-core processor powers the device with ARM-based Mali-G76 MC4 GPU that handles the graphics. Furthermore, Realme 6 comes with three variants of  LPDDR4X RAM – 4GB/6GB/8GB and UFS 2.1 storage of 64GB/128GB expandable up to 256GB.

Realme 6 runs on Android 10 based Realme UI with a 4300 mAh battery to keep the device running. The phone uses a 30W Flash Charge technology to juice up the battery power. Also, it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

9. Realme 6i

Adding to the Realme 6-series, Realme 6i is a successor to the Realme 5i and brings decent specs at affordable pricing. Featuring a classic Master design, Realme 6i adopts a rare spray coating process giving the plastic body a glossy finish. On the front, the phone showcases a 6.5-inch mini-drop fullscreen. The HD+ IPS LCD panel has a 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The processing power comes from the MediaTek Helio G80 (12nm) SoC. It is an octa-core processor coupled with the Mali G52 1000MHz GPU to deliver good performance and a smooth gaming experience. The phone integrates either a 3GB or 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSDX slot.

Realme 6i flaunts a 48MP AI Quad Camera system comprising a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP B&W portrait lens. For selfie snapper, a 16MP super clear selfie sits inside the mini notch.

On the software side, Realme 6i runs on Android 10 OS-based Realme UI. A 5000 mAh massive battery fuels the device with 18W Quick Charge technology support via a USB Type-C port. Also, it features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Realme 6i is the cheaper alternative in the Realme 6-series and directly competes against phones like Redmi Note 9 and Samsung Galaxy M21.

10. Realme C12

Realme launched two phones under the company’s affordable C-series lineup in Nepal – Realme C12 and Realme C15. Realme C12 is the cheaper alternative but offers decent specs similar to Realme C15. Realme C12 has a plastic back with plastic frames and features an attractive Geometric Gradient design. The phone also comes with a Splash Resistant design.

The glass front equips a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a waterdrop-style min-drop notch and small side bezels. The display has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Realme C12 sports an AI Triple Camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP B&W portrait lens, and a 2MP macro lens packed with a LED flash inside a square-shaped camera module. A 5MP selfie camera sits inside the mini-drop notch upfront.

The phone uses MediaTek Helio G35 SoC to deliver performance, which is the same entry-level chip that powers its previous Realme C11. It is an octa-core CPU optimized for gaming and complemented with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. For memory, you get 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of internal storage, along with a dedicated microSD card slot.

On the inside, the device runs on Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10 OS. Realme C12 highlights a massive 6000 mAh high-capacity battery, but only a 10W Charging support via a micro USB connection is a bit disappointing. However, it supports Reverse Charging and has Super Power Saving mode.

11. Realme C15

Realme C15 brings a slight upgrade over the Realme C12 in camera and charging technology. Besides this, the device offers similar specs to that of the Realme C12. It also features the Geometric Gradient design and attaches the same 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a waterdrop style min-drop notch. The display features are the same as the ones you get in the Realme C12.

For processing power, Realme also integrates an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC for CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. To enhance the performance, Realme C15 comes in either 3GB or 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable internal storage. Realme 7 is one of the latest phones launched in Nepal that comes with some upgrades over its predecessor, Realme 6. Realme 7i is a modulated version of the Realme 7 series, which provides comparatively affordable offerings. Realme 7i features a dual-tone finish and comes in a Stylish Mirror Design in the back.
