Coolpad Cool 12A is a budget smartphone with a bigger screen, faster processor, and stylish build quality. For the price it has, the smartphone has some intriguing specifications. Let us go through the details of the phone.

Design and Build Quality

Coolpad Cool 12A sports a 6.217 inches IPS LCD. It supports HD+ content. The display consumes a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and a tall aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Similarly, the physical dimension of the smartphone is 156.2 mm x 75.2 mm x 8.9 mm.

The smartphone has a water-drop notch for the front camera, while the rear camera lies inside a square module on the top-left corner. The bezels on the side of the display are thin and comparatively thick on the chin.

Coolpad Cool 12A is available in three amazing colors: Black, Blue gradient, and Silver. The smartphone weighs 202.5 grams.

Coolpad Cool 12A has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and surprisingly, the fingerprint reader lies on the left-hand side of the phone below the SIM card tray; it is not embedded on the power key. Likewise, the SIM card tray has a triple slot to house two nano SIMS and a single TF card.

The smartphone has a Spreadtrum Unisoc Tiger T310 chipset built on a 12nm mobile platform. It is a quad-core processor with one Cortex-A75, clocking at 2.0 GHz, and three Cortex-A55 cores with a clocking speed of 1.8 GHz.

The processor further combines with either 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage or 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage; the memory is expandable via a microSD up to 128 GB. Coolpad employs PowerVR GE8300 to look after the graphical processing in the smartphone.
