On March 23rd 2021, Realme introduced a new smartphone in its C-series– Realme C25. Realme C25 is a budget segment smartphone. Although the smartphone is not available in Nepal, the expected price of Realme C25 in Nepal is NPR 20,000 for the 4/64 GB variant.
Realme C25 Overview
Realme C25 is an affordable smartphone with a triple camera, a massive battery that supports fast charging and an excellent gaming-focused chipset. The smartphone also has large internal storage. It relatively has the strongest specifications in the Realme C-series.
Design and Build Quality
The smartphone has a 6.5-inches bezel-less display. The LCD touch screen has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. It has a brightness of 480 nits. Realme C25 measures 164.5 x 75.9 x 9.6 mm. Likewise, the aspect ratio of the smartphone is 20:9.
It has a geometric art design, inspired by the sea surface sparkling in the sun. A triple-camera inside a square module lies on the top-left corner of the polycarbonate rear. A 3-card slot for a dual SIM and a microSD card is present.
The selfie camera sits in a tear-drop notch. Realme C25 is available in two color variants: Water Blue and Water Gray. Similarly, the phone weighs 209 grams.
Realme C25 has a TUV Rheinland Smartphone High-Reliability Certification, meaning the smartphone will last for many years.
A fingerprint sensor is on the rear, next to the camera module. It is fast and accurate.
Performance
Realme C25 has a Mediatek Helio G70 processor. The 12nm octa-core processor has a clocking speed of up to 2.0GHz. Likewise, Mali-G52 handles the graphics of the smartphone. The MediaTek gaming technology gives low stability and latency for a smooth and immersive experience, as per Realme‘s claim.
It has 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM that comes in combination with either 64 GB or 128 GB inbuilt storage. The in-house storage of the phone is expandable via a micro SD card up to 256 GB.
Realme C25 runs realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11, right out of the box. The smartphone is certified by TUV Rheinland.
Camera
Realme C25 has a triple camera with AI embedded in it. The main camera is a 48 MP lens with an aperture of f/1.8. Next, the depth camera is a 2 MP lens with an f/1.8 aperture. Finally, the macro camera is a 2 MP lens with an aperture of f/2.4.
The main camera has different options like Beauty, Filter, HDR, Panoramic view, Portrait, Time-lapse, Slo-mo, Nightscape, and Expert.
Videos from the rear camera are recordable in 1080p at 30/60fps and 720p at 30/60fps.
The in-display selfie camera is an 8 MP lens with an aperture of f/2.0. Various photography features like Beauty, Filter, HDR, Panoramic view, Portrait, Time-lapse are available for the front camera.
The video recording options for the front camera are 1080p at 30fps and 720p at 30fps.
Battery
Realme C25 packs a 6000 mAh mega battery. It gives you all-day power on a full charge. Similarly, it supports 18W quick charge. To save energy, you can also use App Quick Freeze, which minimizes battery usage by applications.
It also has an intense power saving mode, allowing the user to use the smartphone even when the battery is running low. With just 5%, it will enable 1.93 hours of WhatsApp chat, 2.18 hours of phone, 5.87 hours of Spotify, 56.18 hours of standby,
