Nokia has been quite active recently in launching various budget-oriented and mid-range smartphones. The company recently launched a new entry-level device, the Nokia C1 plus, in the Nepali market. The Nokia C1 plus is a device under its budget-oriented Nokia C series and comes as an upgraded version of the Nokia C1 with 4G support.
The Nokia C1 plus is officially priced at Rs. 8,399 in the Nepali market, which is for the configuration of 1 GB RAM with 16 GB of internal storage.
Nokia C1 Plus Overview
Nokia C1 Plus is an entry-level device from the company. However, it is a very competitive device for that price range. It comes with support for 4G, which is not seen in other entry-level devices.
Design and Display
Most of the devices under the Nokia C series look very similar, with Nokia C1, Nokia C1 Plus, and Nokia C2 having a very similar design. The plastic body of the device measures 8.8 mm in thickness and weighs 146 grams, and is available in Red and Blue color variants.
It offers a 5.45-inches LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels in an 18:9 aspect ratio. The screen on the device is surrounded by a thick bezel on the top, which features the earpiece, a front camera, and an LED flash, and a thick bottom chin that features the company’s logo.
Performance and Memory
The exact processor used in the device has not been revealed by the company. However, it is known to be a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz. It is available in the memory configuration of 1 GB RAM coupled with 16 GB of internal memory with a dedicated microSD card slot that can support up to 128 GB of the external card.
As for the software of the device, it runs on Android 10 Go Edition with a complete stock Android experience.
Camera
Both the rear and the selfie camera setup of the device features a single 5 MP lens with an LED flash. The cameras are capable of taking videos up to 720p at 30fps.
Battery and Other Features
The device packs a 2500 mAh removable battery. It offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB 2.0 for connectivity options. This device’s main feature is its 4G capability, which is quite a surprise for the device in this price range.
