Insta360 GO 2 Overview
Insta360 GO 2 is a highly portable action camera with solid battery life. It is less than half the size of other competing action cameras. However, despite its size, the camera packs most of its features.
Design and Build Quality
Insta360 GO 2 is only 2-inches long and weighs 27 grams; it is portable, attachable, stickable, and clippable. It is designed to attach to people, places, or things in the heart of the action.
For example, you can clip it to the table, on your bike helmet, or on the cap to take the first-person video.

The action camera is robust and has essential camera control. It also acts like a mini tripod to film the action. A metal screw is available to mount the tripod. Likewise, a unique clip is available to attach to a cap helmet.
The box also has a magnetic pendant to wear around your neck and attach the action camera magnetically through your clothes.
Similarly, the pivot stand available in the box lets you stick the camera onto the smooth surface like a car hood; it sticks well.
The action camera is IPX8 rated. It can survive water of up to 13ft depth. So it is surfing, pool parties, and skinny dipping ready.
Performance
The video quality of the camera is good as well. It has a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a wide aperture of f/2.2. You can easily adjust the angle view, resolution, and frame rate. The camera can record HDR video at the exact resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 at 24 frames per second. The slow-mo video at 120fps is achievable
Likewise, the Pro Video mode has basic stabilization and Insta360’s FlowState stabilization. You can also swap the Lens Guard with an ND filter to get color and contrast balance. However, the ND filter set is sold separately.
While using timelapse in night mode, GO 2, with the help of AI, will adjust the exposure and intervals. Similarly, the AquaVision in the app makes the videos in the water crystal clear. Moreover, it produces more realistic and vivid colors.
The internal storage of the camera is 32 GB; it is non-expandable.
Battery
Insta360 GO 2 has a 210 mAh battery. The charging case has a 1,100 mAh battery. So, the charging case can charge the camera up to five times. Likewise, the camera’s battery life is 30 minutes per charge during 1,440 POV shooting with basic stabilization.
The camera takes 35 minutes to get a full charge, while the charging case takes 65 minutes. So a full charge in the camera lets you shoot for up to 2.5 hours.
