Poco’s latest Pro phone, Poco X3 Pro released a couple months ago was a big hit among smartphone users. The company has officially launched its new 5G Pro phone, Poco M3 Pro 5G in Nepal. Here, we will discuss about the specs and features of the new Poco phone along with its price in Nepal.
Poco M3 Pro 5G Overview
Poco M3 Pro 5G meets all the requirements you seek on a 2021 smartphone. It features a wide 6.53 inches display with a punch-hole cut out for front camera and a triple camera setup on the back. Its powerhouse will be MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G and will have a massive 5000mAh battery backup.
Design and Display
Unlike its original version, Poco M3 Pro 5G has an exclusive design and build quality. It comes with a body dimension of 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm weighing around 199g. The device has a glass front and glass back with plastic frame, under Gorilla Glass 5 protection. You can find it in four color variations: Chrome Silver, Graphite Gray, Nighttime Blue, Aurora Green.
It features a 6.53 inches IPS LCD display of 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution with 90Hz refresh rate. The screen display has 19.5:9 aspect ratio and ~83.4% screen-to-body ratio. Fingerprint scanner is side-mounted and incorporated on the power button.
Performance and Storage
Under the hood, Poco M3 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 5g chipset and an Octa-core processor with 4×2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55. The graphics processing unit comes with Mali-G57 MC2. It operates on Android 11 with MIUI 12.
It is available in three memory variants of 4GB RAM with 62GB and 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Memory expansion is also available via a dedicated microSD card slot.
Camera
The triple rear camera setup features a 48MP wide-angle main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, sustained by a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture. A punch-hole cut out on the screen houses the 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
Video recording options with rear camera include 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, 720p@960fps. It also supports gyro-EIS. Front camera can record up to 1080p@30fps. Other features include HDR and panorama.
Battery and Connectivity
Poco M3 Pro 5G has a Li-Po 5000mAh non-removable battery. It supports 18W fast charging for quick battery fill up. This makes the battery backup quite durable for both high performance and regular usage.
It supports 5G connectivity along with other services, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.1, A2DP, LE, GPS, NFC, USB 2.0, Type-C reversible connector and a 3.5mm audio jack.
