Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro launched in China with Functional Design and Powerful Chipset

Lenovo tablets are popular for their user satisfaction in terms of both product quality and affordability. The leading tech company of China has recently launched Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro 13 in its native country. The stylish looking Yoga Pad comes with several functional specs and high performance compatibility.

Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro 13 Overview

Yoga Pad Pro 13 is a very practical tablet with features like kickstand-cum-handle, flagship chipset, stellar display, and the convenience to use it as an external monitor. An extensive battery backup, massive storage and additional connectivity options like HDMI make the Yoga Pad a go to tablet for most users.

Design and Display

The tablet’s exterior is built with a premium quality Alcantara which is commonly used in sports cars. It attaches a multipurpose handle made up of m CNC-machined stainless steel, which you can also use as a kickstand for freehand use. The body dimension of the Yoga Pad is 293.35 x 203.98 x 6.2-24.9-mm and weighs 830g. You can easily lift and use the tablet with 180-degree free rotation.

It sports a 13 inches LTPS LCD with an HDR resolution of 2160 x 1350 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The screen supports a 100% sRGB color gamut and a peak brightness of 400 nits. Other HDR formats like HDR10 and Dolby vision are also supported. You can use a separate Xiaoxin stylus on the tablet, with over 4000 different pressure levels. The screen is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission.

Performance and Features

Yoga Pad Pro 13 is powered by a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 879 chipset with the prime core clocked up to 3.2GHZ. It runs on Android 11 with Lenovo’s ZUI 12.5 on top. The memory configuration includes 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB internal storage ensuring the feasibility for almost every general task and high end performance like gaming.

Lenovo has paid more attention to user experience as well. It provides a force landscape mode that enables display rotation for incompatible apps. Another dedicated computer mode allows multi-window operations. It also offers a default learning platform for children, whereas parents can monitor their kids’ activities on the tablet via an app.

Camera and Audio

Yoga Pad Pro 13 comes with an 8MP front camera with a ToF sensor for Face Unlock. This hardware integration checks live input that provides more security than the software-based Face Unlock implemented on most Android devices.

The audio section has no compromise at all. It features a quad speaker powered by JBL, each with a 5cc cavity. The whole audio system is capable of up to 9W output with 2x 2.5W & 2x 2W.

Battery and Connectivity

The yoga pad carries a huge 10,200mAh battery that guarantees 12 hours of video playback in tablet mode and 8.5 hours in display mode. It supports a USB 3.1 Type-C port that follows Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4 protocol.

The wireless connectivity available in the tablet are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (dual-band, 2×2 MIMO) and Bluetooth 5.2. It also supports app projection to an external display using an HDMI connection through a micro HDMI port.

Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro 13 Price in Nepal and Availability

The starting price of Yoga Pad Pro 13 in China is 3,299 Yuan and available for pre order. It is announced to be on sale from the end of this month, May 31. However, there has been yet no confirmation about its release in Nepal.
