Subisu Cablenet has installed a 400Gbps single optical fiber channel. The leading ISP of Nepal had been working with the global tech company Nokia for the network implementation. Subisu aims to extend the super high speed fiber solution all across the country from east to west. This project will be a big milestone to meet the internet requirements of Nepalese users.
Subisu’s 400Gbps Single Optical Fiber
The high speed optical fiber solution will significantly boost Subisu’s broadband offerings. The ISP can now exceed the expectation of its business and retail consumers and meet their high speed internet demand. It will enhance the quality of both the internet and intranet services.
The 400Mbps single fiber channel will substantially uplift the fiber capacity resulting in low cost for operation. This can help Subisu deliver a multi-terabit capacity network through a single fiber. In Collaboration with Nokia
Subisu has implemented the Nokia 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) platform. The switch supports Photonic Service Engine (PSE) and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM). It turns standard WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) into a flexible transport layer with managed agile photonics, multilayer switching, and services, plus network intelligence. The ascendable switch enables rapid service deployment, lowers TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), and extends life cycles of the network
