Oppo unveiled a new smartwatch as Oppo Watch 2 on 27th July 2021. It is the addition to the Oppo Watch Series as the second smartwatch. The first smartwatch from the series was the Oppo Watch. The expected price of the Oppo Watch 2 in Nepal is Rs. 25,000 for the 42mm with Bluetooth. Likewise, we expect the price of the Oppo Watch 2 to be Rs. 30,000 for the 42mm with eSIM, while Rs. 40,000 for the 46mm with eSIM.
Oppo Watch 2 Overview
Oppo Watch 2 has a predecessor as Oppo Watch, which was launched last year. It has great features and specifications.
Design and Build Quality
Oppo Watch 2 sports a hyperboloid 3D curved AMOLED display. It has 326 PPI pixel density, while the refresh rate is 60Hz. Oppo Watch 2 has the option for eSIM and Bluetooth only version. The Bluetooth version is available only in a 42mm dial, whereas the eSIM is available in both 42mm and 46mm dial. For the 42mm model, Oppo provides a 1.75-inches display and a 1.91-inches display for the 46mm version.
The smartwatch has more than 100 dials to choose from and generates new dials using AI outfit 2.0. Likewise, the Oppo Watch 2 has a fluorine rubber strap with a buckle. As per the Oppo claim, the strap is skin-friendly, breathable, and comfortable. The smartwatch is 5 ATM certified.
Performance
All the models of the smartwatch possess 1 GB memory with 8 GB of internal storage. They have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100 processor with Apollo 4s secondary chipset. For the graphics, it has an Adreno 504 GPU. Similarly, the smartwatch boots on a dual OS – ColorOS Watch based on Android and RTOS.
Oppo Watch 2 automatically switches between the chipset; the smartwatch uses the Qualcomm chipset when running the Android App. It uses Apollo 4s during Battery Saving Mode or while running on RTOS.

Features
The Oppo Watch 2 has a 24 hours heart rate monitor that tracks heartbeat. It also features a SpO2 sensor and an accelerometer sensor for tracking movements. Likewise, it features Sleep monitoring, Multiple Sports Modes, Stress assessment, drink water reminder, view blood glucose trends in real-time, and other Activity Trackers.
The E-Game mode of the smartwatch redirects the phone’s notification to the Oppo Watch 2. It also acts as a viewfinder and trigger for the camera app of the smartphone.
Oppo Watch 2 supports an independent eSIM function so that you can make calls and play apps even without having your mobile phone with you. Likewise, the smartwatch can check the car’s condition, turn on the AC, and lock the car’s door after leaving the car.
Battery
Oppo Watch 2 with a 46mm variant packs a 510 mAh battery. According to the company, the battery lasts for up to four days in Smart Mode. Also, the battery lasts for up to 16 days when used in Power Saver mode. Likewise, the 42mm variant has a 360 mAh battery; it lasts for up to two days in Smart Mode and up to ten days in Power Saver mode.
The battery charges via VOOC 2.0 technology. Oppo claims the battery can provide one day of life with just 10 minutes of charge for the 46mm model. On the other hand, it takes 15 minutes for the battery to draw the power for one day.

Oppo Watch 2 is available at the starting price of CNY 1,299 in China for the 42 mm, Bluetooth variant. Likewise, the price of Oppo Watch 2 is CNY 1,499 and CNY 1,999 for the 42 mm esIM model and 46 mm eSIM model, respectively. Hence, the expected price for Oppo Watch 2 in Nepal is NPR 25,000 for the Bluetooth variant, NPR 30,000 for the 42 mm with the eSIM variant, and NPR 40,000 for the 46 mm with esIM variant.
