Design and Display

Keyboard and Touchpad
The Scar 15 has a mechanical keyboard as it uses an optomechanical switch. It uses a very tactile switch and an optical sensor, so it has got a light beam that when you press keys and detects that the light’s cut off, it registers as an input, so it’s very fast in that sense. It’s got 3 levels of key brightness and 1.9mm of key travel. Performance
