    Xiaomi Launches Mi 11 Ultra with Massive Camera Sensors and a Dual-Screen

    Xiaomi launched Mi 11 Ultra on 29th March 2021 as the premium flagship revolutionizing smartphone photography. Other smartphones- Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11 Pro, were also launched on the same day. Mi 11 Ultra is the successor to the Mi 10 Ultra. The expected price of Mi 11 Ultra in Nepal is NPR 115,000 for the 8/256 GB, NPR 125,000 for the 12/256 GB, and NPR 140,000 for the 12/512 GB. Xiaomi smartphones in Nepal under Redmi brand lie in the mid-range budget segment, while the Xiaomi lies in the higher-range budget segment.

    Mi 11 Ultra has a pro-grade triple camera setup. It offers a premium experience in most of the aspects of the smartphone.

    Design and Build Quality

    Mi 11 Ultra has a 6.81-inches AMOLED display; the display has a WQHD+ quad-curved. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is adaptive. The touch sampling rate is 480Hz. The smartphone has a resolution of 3200 x 1400 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Similarly, the peak brightness of 1,700 nits is capable of producing 1 billion colors.

    The smartphone is available in two colors: Ceramic White and Ceramic Black. It weighs 234 grams.

    Performance

    Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with a 5nm power-efficient manufacturing process. The CPU clocks up to the speed of 2.84GHz. Adreno 660 GPU handles the graphics of the smartphone. The smartphone has a Snapdragon X60 5G modem and a 6th gen AI engine.

    The smartphone has a three-phase cooling technology, which swaps the original thermal gel cover of the processor with a macromolecular phase change material that boasts higher efficiency and better wrap-around. The technology increases the thermal conductivity performance by 100%.

    On the other hand, the smartphone also has a GameTurbo 4.0, which offers a smooth experience for the most demanding games.

    The memory configurations of the smartphone are 8 GB RAM combined with 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM combined with 256 GB or 512 GB internal storage. It has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

    Camera

    The pro-grade triple-camera arrays have a top ranking in DXOMARK rating. A triple-camera setup on the rear has a 50 MP Samsung GN2 wide-angle camera, a 48 MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide camera and a 48 MP Sony IMX586 telephoto camera.

    The main camera has an aperture of f/1.95, while the telephoto camera has f/2.2. Similarly, the ultra-wide camera has a 128-degree field of view and an aperture of f/2.2. The telephoto camera offers 10x hybrid zoom, 5x optical zoom, and 120x digital zoom.

    All the cameras from the rear can record videos of up to 8K at 24fps. The main camera also supports Staggered-HDR.

    The in-display front camera has a 20 MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. It has a 78-degree field of view.

    Battery 

    Fueling the smartphone is a 5,000 mAh battery. It supports 67W wired turbo charging and 67W wireless turbocharging. According to the advertisement, the battery takes 36 minutes to fill the 100% charge from both wired and wireless charger.
