Xiaomi, on 29th March 2021, launched its Mi 11 Series of the smartphone. The series has a large family consisting of Mi 11 Lite 5G, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra. The expected starting price of Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro in Nepal is NPR 95,000 for the base variant of 8/128 GB. Similarly, the price of Mi 11 Pro for the 8/256 GB may lie near NPR 100,000, while the 12/256 GB to be around NPR 105,000. Among other Xiaomi smartphone, it is the flagship phone from the brand.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro Overview
Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is a premium device with exciting features and specifications. The smartphone borrows the majority of the specifications from the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, except the secondary display and the camera setup.
Design and Build Quality
Mi 11 Pro has a 6.81-inches AMOLED screen, producing 1 billion colors. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and also supports HDR10+. Similarly, the resolution of the screen is 1440 x 3200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
The display has protection from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It weighs 208 grams and has three color options: Black, Green, and Purple.
An under-display fingerprint reader is present. It also has an IR blaster and an IP68 dust/water resistant certificate, meaning the phone survives in water of 1.5m depth for up to 30 minutes.
Performance
The smartphone’s processing power comes from Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888, having a 5nm fabrication process. The octa-core CPU clocks up to the speed of 2.84GHz. Likewise, Adreno 660 handles the graphical processing on the smartphone with a smooth multitasking experience.
Xiaomi boasts about its improved thermal management via class-leading heat dissipation. It has a 150nm vapour chamber and copper heat sinks.
The 8 GB RAM is combined with either 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage, whereas the 12 GB RAM combines with 256 GB of inbuilt storage. The internal storage is UFS 3.1; it is non-expandable.
Mi 11 Pro boots Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5, out of the box.
Camera
A rear triple-camera consists of a primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto camera; a LED flash also accompanies it.
The primary camera is a 50 MP Samsung GN2 sensor with an aperture of f/2.0. Similarly, the ultra-wide camera is a 13 MP sensor with a 123-degree field of view and has an aperture of f/2.4. Finally, the telephoto camera is an 8 MP lens with a 5x optical zoom.
The rear camera can capture the video in up to 8K at 24fps, with other options being 4K at 30/60fps and 1080p at 30/60fps.
A 20 MP Selfie camera sits in a punch-hole. The front camera can record the video in 1080p at 30/60 fps and 720p at 120fps.
Battery
Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro packs a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery. It supports 67W fast charging and fast wireless charging. According to the advertisement, it takes 36 min for the battery to fill up to 100%.
The battery also supports reverse wireless charging of 10W.
