The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 have revealed along with its specification. The Z Fold 3 will is expected to replace the other handset of Galaxy Note. We can expect some of the design, specification, and cameras as the rumors about Z Fold 3 have been heard quite for some time. Though Samsung hasn’t announced its release date yet, the Z Fold 3 is rumored to launch in August this year.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Overview
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to be the top-tier foldable phone of Samsung’s next generation. Galaxy Z Fold 3 is Samsung’s next tablet-sized upcoming flagship foldable that folds shut to the size of a regular phone. According to the leaks, Z Fold 3 looks similar to its predecessors, with a subtle triple camera module on the rear side. The design is more focused on its durability.
Some of the rumors point to be the Samsung phone with an under-display camera as this phone is durable enough to resist both water and dust. It is rumored that this foldable phone delivers updates regularly, and also this supports S Pen in taking notes because Z Fold 3 has a large display.
Design and Build Quality
We have got certain ideas about how the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is designed and its looks from the leaks. At first, we knew the display size of the Z fold 3 from a tweet issued by Tron, which has a 6.23 inches external display and the 7.55 inches main internal large display. It is expected to be an LTPO panel with both having a refresh rate of 120Hz. Resolution is currently unconfirmed, but it’s likely to remain close to 2208 by 1768 with slightly trimmed down bezels.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a capacitive fingerprint scanner and a volume rocker on the right side. On the rear panel, there appears to have a matte surface. As it is a larger screen device thus, it is rumored to use S Pen, but there won’t be a slot for S Pen in the body of a phone like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It is also supposed to be the first folding phone to support the S Pen.
Samsung doesn’t indicate that there will be a change on the Galaxy Fold 3 as it has been featuring SoCs in its predecessors’ foldable. Thus, we expect it to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or possibly 888+ with a generous amount of RAM, such as 12GB or 16GB.
There is a slight possibility that Samsung would use its Exynos 2100, a more powerful variant of its device. There’s unlikely to be expandable storage, though; we hope it packs a large storage variant like the 1TB option. This Z Fold 3 runs One UI 3.5 based on Android 11.
When it comes to the cameras, we’re getting a punch or selfie camera on the front display. There’s a triple camera on the rear panel, which appears as a conventional setup-no periscope, with no IR sensors with features of LED flash, HDR, panorama. It is expected to have a 16MP selfie camera under the display with a feature of HDR for an amazing selfie shot.
Battery & Connectivity
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a Lithium Polymer 4,400 mAh non-removable battery with 25 W charging and 11 W wireless charging. The Z Fold 3 supports proprietary fast charging.
The phone is rumored to have various connectivity options with the inclusion of sensors. Connectivity options include GPS, Wi-Fi, USB Type C port, Bluetooth v5.2. Sensors included are Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer.
