Huawei MateView and MateView GT Overview
MateView is the standard version that comes with features like a large aspect ratio and multiple connectivity options. Hardware configurations such as external connectivity ports and complex sound systems give users limitless possibilities to work. It makes working on the intelligent monitor fun and more productive. This variant is targeted mainly for media content creators who require high resolution display and multi-functional screen.
Likewise, MateView GT is a gaming monitor which offers dedicated features like a curvature screen with a high refresh rate, smart brightness adjustment and a custom built-in sound system. Users can get an extreme experience while gaming on this screen. You can also work with premium editing tools and software on the wide screen. Design and Display
MateView flaunts a 28.2-inches LCD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2560-pixels and 60Hz refresh rate. The screen has a tall aspect ratio of 3:2 for best viewing experience. It supports the highest brightness up to 500 nits which gives a bright and sharp display. In addition, it has a 10-bit color depth that can produce as much as 1.07 billion colors. On the other hand, MateView GT sports a 34-inches LCD panel with a 1200R curvature. The screen has a resolution of 3400 x 1440-pixels with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It offers an impressively high refresh rate of up to 165Hz for flawless graphics while gaming. The display panel has a peak brightness of 350 nits and is capable of producing 1.07 billion colors. It also supports 90% DCI P3 color space and HDR 10 contrast.
Built-ins and Connectivity
There is a mirror option in MateView that allows users to share their Huawei phones screen through the wireless connection. Although, this feature is compatible only with phones running Kirin 980 and EMUI 12.0. The audio segment integrates two speakers with a collective output of 5W and a voice pick up radius of 4m.
For connectivity, it includes a USB-C port with video in and 65W Charging, two USB-A, an additional USB-C for charging, a mini-Display Port 1.2, HDMI 2.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The gaming monitor MateView GT has a Dark Field Control feature that allows uses to adjust brightness levels in low light scenes within a game and help detect enemies. You also get an on-screen digital target sight feature called Crosshair. There is a pre-attached audio-bar with two speakers of 2.25W each, which also has an RGB backlight touch panel with a volume slider.
