iPhone XR Overview
The iPhone XR is the toned-down version of the XS generation at a cheaper price. It comes with an LCD screen, a single rear camera with a 12MP sensor, and decent battery life. Besides, the phone packs the same powerful Apple A12 Bionic chip, the same TrueDepth camera with the Face ID technology, and a similar design as the higher XS models.
Design and Display
The iPhone XR has a glass back with a custom version of Gorilla Glass protection and metal frames. The dual-camera setup at the back is confined inside the square matte glass at the top left corner. The device is IP67-rated for dust and water resistance that can withstand a maximum depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes. The durable front glass has Gorilla Glass protection and a Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.
The iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD display with an HD+ resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels at 326 PPI pixel density. The LCD multi-touch screen is based on IPS technology and has a notch on top that houses the front-facing camera with Face ID technology and speaker grille. Performance
Apple has used the Apple A12 Bionic chip (7nm) with Second-generation Neural Engine inside the iPhone XR. The SoC is a custom 64-bit Hexa-core CPU with 2×2.25 GHz Vortex high-performance cores and 4×1.6 GHz Tempest high-efficiency cores. The A12 Bionic chip incorporates an Apple-designed quad-core GPU and an updated version of Apple’s Neural Engine with eight cores.

Camera
