Samsung launched two new devices – Samsung Galaxy F02s and Samsung Galaxy M12 in its F-series, in India on 5th April 2021. The expected price of Samsung Galaxy F02s in Nepal is NPR 14,999 for 3/32GB and NPR 15,999 for the 4/64 GB variant. It is a budget-friendly smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy F02s Overview
Samsung Galaxy F02s is a rebadged Samsung Galaxy M02s. It also looks like Samsung Galaxy A02s. The smartphone has an impressive camera, a massive battery with fast charging, and also features loudspeaker.
Design and Build Quality
Samsung Galaxy F02s has a 6.5-inches dewdrop notch display. The resolution of the smartphone is 720 x 1600 pixels. It has an HD+ Infinity-V Display with a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. Likewise, the physical dimension of the smartphone measures 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm.
The display has a selfie in a waterdrop notch at the top center, while a rectangular module houses the triple camera on the rear. The bezels are thin on the side and thick on the chin.
Talking about the ports and buttons, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a mic, a Type-C USB port, and a speaker on the bottom. The top also has a secondary mic. Similarly, the right-hand side features a power button and a volume rocker, while the left-hand side has a SIM card tray.
The smartphone has a stunning haze and matt design. Similarly, it has three premium colour variants: Diamond Blue, Diamond White, and Diamond Black. Samsung Galaxy F02s weighs 196 grams.
It also has a face unlock, for unlocking the smartphone. The fingerprint reader is unavailable in the smartphone.
Performance
Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy F02s packs Snapdragon 450 chipset with a 14nm fabrication process. It is further paired with Adreno 506 GPU. The 1.8 GHz octa-core lets you run multiple apps smoothly.
The smartphone’s memory combination is 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64 GB storage. The memory is expandable via microSD.
Samsung Galaxy F02s runs Android10 OS based on OneUI. It lets you navigate over any task efficiently.
Camera
Around the back, Samsung Galaxy F02s has a triple-camera setup along with an LED flash. A 13 MP main camera with an aperture of f/2.2 sits together with a 2 MP macro and depth camera. The macro camera and the depth camera has an aperture of f/2.4.
The picture quality is good for social media posts. Similarly, the camera has live focus, portrait mode. The rear camera can record the footage in 1080p @30fps. However, the video stabilization is poor.
The front camera in Samsung Galaxy F02s has a 5 MP sensor. It sits on the V-shape notch and has an aperture of f/2.2.
Battery
A 5000 mAh battery fuels the smartphone; it can last for the whole day with a single charge.
