5G phones these days are getting launched every week. T-Mobile – America’s largest 5G network-launched a new smartphone in its REVVL family on 30th June 2021. The new smartphone is REVVL V+ 5G. REVVL V+ 5G Overview
REVVL V+ 5G is a 5G smartphone with a big bright display, a powerful processor, and a long-lasting battery. It is a low-cost 5G smartphone from the brand.
Design and Build Quality
The smartphone has a large 6.82-inches LCD screen and a resolution of 720p+. The display has an aspect ratio of 20.5:9. Likewise, the physical dimension of the smartphone is 6.84 x 3.05 x 0.28 inches. The display has very thin bezels and comparatively thick bezels on the chin.
It has a punch hole cut out housing the front-facing camera on the top-center of the display, while the rear camera has a triple sensor sitting vertically in a rectangular type-module. The rear panel has a black color with a thick purple vertical line on the center; the line also has a prominent T-Mobile branding at the center in white color.
The smartphone has a power button on the right side, while the volume rockers are on the left-hand side. It also has a SIM card tray above the volume rockers. On the top, above the selfie camera, it has a speaker grille.
REVVL V+ 5G is available in a single color: Nebula Black. It looks classy and has a premium feel.
REVVL V+ 5G also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button for biometrics authentication. It also has the option of unlocking via Facial Recognition.
Performance
Powering the smartphone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 chip; it is an octa-core processor with a clocking speed of up to 2.2 GHz. The processor supports multi-tasking and streaming perfectly. Similarly, Mali-G57 MC2 handles the graphics of the smartphone.
The processor further pairs with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage. You can extend the internal storage up to 2TB via a microSD card.
REVVL V+ 5G runs Android 11 out of the box.
Camera
REVVL V+ 5G has a triple camera setup on the rear. It consists of a 16 MP primary camera and a 5MP and 2 MP secondary sensor. Similarly, the camera has a Night mode, Live Focus, and many more.
REVVL V+ 5G has a 16 MP selfie camera in a notch.
Battery
REVVL V+ 5G packs a large 5,000 mAh battery. It supports 18W fast charging—the battery charges via USB Type-C port. The fast charger is available in the box, so nothing to worry about.
