Oppo launched a new smartphone – Oppo Find X3 Pro, under its Find X series. The price of the Oppo Find X3 Pro is £1099 on amazon. If the phone gets launched in Nepal, we expect the price of Oppo Find X3 Pro to be near NPR 1,85,000.
Oppo Find X3 Pro Overview
Oppo Find X3 Pro is the successor to the 2020’s Oppo Find X2 Pro. Having a long list of specifications, what stands out most is the smartphone’s design and its latest chipset. Apart from the design, the phone’s display, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate, the cameras, are also impressive.
Design and Build Quality
Oppo Find X3 comes with a new LTPO OLED screen with 1440 x 3216 resolution and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The display has a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, producing 1 billion colors. Oppo says it has an A+ rating from DisplayMate. Following this, it is IP68 water and dust resistance, withstanding splash, spill, and dust.
It measures 163.4 x 74 x 8.26 mm, weighing 193 grams. The smartphone is available in two colors: Gloss Black and Blue.
On the right side, it has a power button, while the volume rockers lie on the left. At the bottom, it houses a dual SIM tray, USB Type-C port with 3.1 transfer speed, and a speaker. The top also has an earpiece dual stereo speaker. The front camera lies in a small cutout in the screen, while the rear camera sits on a seamless curve.
It has an under-display fingerprint sensor, working fast and accurately.
Performance
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 powers the smartphone with a 5G modem; it is currently the best chipset in the tech market. Further, it has 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS3.1 storage of 256GB. However, the internal memory is not expandable. It has an octa-core processor clocking up to 2.84 GHz. Adreno 660 handles the graphics. A heavyweight 3D game runs smoothly with this processor combination.
The phone also runs the latest Android 11 based on ColorOS 11.2. It has an always-on display and customizable dark mode.
Camera
Photography plays a big part when choosing a smartphone, and Oppo Find X3 Pro has not disappointed. It has a stylish quad-camera on the back featuring two 50MP Sony IMX766 shooters; the primary camera has an f/1.8 OIS, whereas the ultra-wide lens has an f/2.2 aperture.
The third camera is a 13MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with a 5x hybrid zoom. Following this, the fourth camera is a 3MP macro-lens, which allows 60x magnification. To be clear about micro-lens, it can capture close shots of the subjects with up to 60x digital zoom.
The selfie, on the other hand, is a 32MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
Battery
Fueling the smartphone is a 4,500 mAh battery supporting both wired and wireless charging – a wired charging of 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 and 30W AirVOOC wireless fast charging.
The wired charging fills 40% of the battery in 10 mins. The 30W wireless charging can supply the full charge in 80 minutes.

Despite having some great specifications, the money you spend for the Oppo Find X3 Pro is somehow a big amount. If you are willing to spend a tidy sum, it’s worth investing in a smartphone-like Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra or Xiaomi Mi 11.
