Nokia 5.3 Overview
The phone is budget-friendly and is a bloat-free Android device. It also has a decent camera. However, the performance is average with an average display. Nokia 5.3 is surprisingly a good offering from the company, and you can shortlist the smartphone if you are looking for a budget-friendly phone. Android One is a great treat to have.
Design and Build Quality
Nokia is less flashy and more stylish. It has a 6.55-inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. Likewise, the display has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The thin bezel display has a small teardrop notch housing the selfie camera. Similarly, it has a matte plastic finish at the back. The low budget phone doesn’t feel cheap at all. It has three colour variants: Cyan, Sand, and Charcoal. Additionally, the phone weighs 185 grams.
The volume rocker and the power button are present on the right side of the phone. A notification LED is included on the volume button. Secondary microphone and a 3.5mm headphone jack are on the top while the bottom has a speaker grille, USB Type-C port and the primary microphone. Performance
Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor powers the phone with octa-core processor. Adreno 610 GPU looks after the graphics of the phone. Similarly, it has the memory variants of 3/64GB, 4/64GB, and 6/64GB, expandable. The only 4/64GB variant is available in Nepal as per now. You may encounter the slow loading of the game and also occasional stutter. So, the gamers may not be as satisfied with the phone.
Nokia 5.3 runs Android 10, a part of Android One program just like other Nokia phones. It means you will get the updates in a timely fashion for two years. Android One gives a pure software experience without bloatware.
Camera
It has a quad-camera lens of 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, 5MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth camera.
The quad-camera gives plenty of value for the money you spend. Pictures are good under much light but less impressive under low light. Similarly, HDR processing preserves details of the images. A dedicated Night mode and portrait mode are also available. It claims to have AI processing for capturing images creating different bokeh.
On the front of the device, it has an 8MP selfie snapper, giving essential selfies.
Overall, the images are just precisely what you would expect from the mid-range devices, social-media ready.
Videos from the rear camera are recordable with 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30fps while the front camera captures 1080p at 30fps.

Nokia 5.3 has a 4,000 mAh battery with 10W charging via USB Type-C connection. According to the advertisement, the battery lasts up to 2 days.
It also has an AI-assisted Adaptive Battery for saving energy for the apps you use the most.
