Redmi 9 Power Overview
Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G, which was launched previously in China. The Redmi 9 Power packs a massive 6000 mAh battery, a 48MP Quad camera, an FHD+ display, and more.
Design and Display
Redmi 9 power comes in a plastic body with a plastic frame and a glass front featuring a teardrop notch for selfie camera with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It features a new Aura Power Design and a vertically aligned quad-camera setup with anti-fingerprint texture and curved unibody back that gives it a stylish look and, at the same time, feels comfortable to hold.
Xiaomi introduced four color variations – Mighty Black, Blazing Blue, Fiery Red, and Electric Green.
On the front, the Redmi 9 power offers an immersive 6.53-inch Full HD+ IPS display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution that delivers sharp, detailed, and clear image quality on a wider 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 400 nits Brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Also, minimum side bezels help to retain an 83.4% screen-to-body ratio.
Performance and Internals Storage
Powering Redmi 9 Power is the Qualcomm® SM6115 Snapdragon™ 662 backed with Adreno 610 GPU. It is a power-efficient octa-core processor that clocks up to 2.0 GHz speed with 11 nm process technology, which means you get high performance with low power consumption.
The power-packed performance is complemented with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and the latest technology 64GB UFS 2.1 and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
Camera
The Redmi 9 Power comes with a 48MP Quad Camera Array comprising a 48MP wide lens as a primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens that gives you a 118-degree field of view, a 2MP depth sensor for portraits, and another 2MP macro lens for close shots. It has features such as Movie Frame, Time Lapse, Night-Mode, and Color Focus.
For the selfie, the Redmi 9 power has a single 8MP selfie camera placed inside the notch that supports AI Face Unlock and AI beautification.
The device can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps from both the rear and front.
