Xiaomi had recently launched Redmi Note 10 Pro (Max) in Nepal. It lies in the Note 10 Series of Redmi, whose other members are Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro. The brand has now added a new smartphone in the series by launching Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G on 26th May 2021.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G price in China is CNY 1,599 (around NPR 29,240). Accordingly, the expected price of Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G in Nepal is NPR 34,000 for the base model of 6/128 GB, NPR 37,000 for the 8/128 GB, and NPR 42,000 for the 8/256 GB model. Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G Overview
Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is a 5G variant of Redmi Note 10 Pro. It is an exclusive smartphone to China and has a different chipset. Likewise, it also offers faster charging and better protection for the display.
Design and Build Quality
The smartphone has a 6.6-inches LCD panel that refreshes at the rate of 120Hz. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 with a display resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Likewise, Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus gives protection to the display. It measures 163.3 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm of the physical dimension.
Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G has three color options: Moon Soul, Star yarn, and Magic Green. It has IP53 splash resistance. The smartphone weighs 193 grams.
It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader for authentication. The smartphone flaunts the Mechanical Keyboard app.
Performance
The chipset of the smartphone is MediaTek Dimensity 1100 with the 6 nm advanced technology process. For the graphical processing, it employs Mali-G77 MC9. Redmi claims that it has 72% performance improvement over the previous generation.
The memory options of the smartphone are 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage, 8GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage, and 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage.
It has a Liquid cooling heat dissipation system with thermal gel and copper foil.
Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G runs on Android 11 based on MIUI 12.5 out of the box.
Camera
A triple camera on the rear houses a 64 MP primary shooter, an 8 MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
The back camera can capture the video in 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 30/60/120fps, and 720p at 960fps
The front camera is a 16 MP snapper with an aperture of f/2.45. It can record the footage in 1080p at 30fps and 720p at 120fps.
Battery
A 5,000 mAh battery fuels the smartphone. It supports 67W fast charging technology. According to the advertisement, it takes 42 minutes to get a full charge of 100%.

Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is available in China at CNY 1,599, CNY 1,799, and CNY 1,999 for 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB, respectively. Since the smartphone is exclusive to China, we are not sure about its launch in Nepal.
