Redmi has again extended its earbuds lineup by launching Redmi AirDots 3 Pro via an official event in China. The company states AirDots 3 Pro to be their first TWS to feature Active Noise Cancellation. Redmi AirDots 3 Pro Overview

AirDots 3 Pro is a high specs earbud with a sophisticated design and a premium build quality. It offers multiple dedicated features like game mode, wireless charging and advanced connectivity. Integration of an active AI technology into the system enhances the audio quality and gives a diverse experience using the earbuds.

Design and Build Quality

It comes with a distinct design in both earbuds and the case. The earbuds have an elongated design which is similar to the previous earbuds in AirDots series. Each weigh 4.9g and feature matching color to the charging case. They are IP68 certified dust and water resistant.

The charging case has an oval shaped body with a dot LED indicator on the front. It weighs 55g with charging case and earbuds. You will also find additional silicone earplugs with three different sizes inside the box. There are two color variations available: Black and White.

Features and Active Noise Cancellation

Redmi AirDots 3 Pro features a 9mm composite dynamic driver with an impedance of 32 Ohm. It comprises three microphones tuned by Mi Audio Lab and supports four adjustable sound effects. The neural network-backed call noise reduction delivers an interference free voice calls.

Active Noise Cancellation is the major accumulation that can reduce noise by up to 35 decibels. It uses an AI algorithm to study the surroundings and automatically switch between depth, mild, and balanced noise reduction in response to the surrounding. In order to make communication easy with the next person while on earbuds, it features a transparency mode that boosts human voice.

Game Mode with AI Integration

The low latency AirDots 3 Pro delivers makes it highly suited for gaming. It is capable of limiting the latency up to 69ms. The best thing about this service is that it doesn’t require manual setup either.

The AI integration enables it to automatically enter the Low Latency mode whenever you start a game. However, this feature is only compatible with Xiaomi phones running MIUI 12 or later.

Battery and Connectivity

The earbuds carry a 35mAh battery that can bear 6 hours of playback time when not in ANC mode and volume at 50%. The charging cell has a 470mAh battery and gives an extension of 28 hours. It supports fast charging and can add 3 hours of battery backup in 10 minutes of charge with the case.

The charging case also supports wireless charging. It is compatible with Bluetooth 5.2, dual-connection, wear detection, and touch control.

Redmi AirDots 3 has been announced to go on sale from June 11 at 349 Yuan. There is an initial price offer at 299 Yuan to estimate its price in Nepal at NPR. 7,000. It is mostly like to be available in Nepal soon after the release in China.
