Realme is soon to launch its true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds Realme Buds Q2 in Nepal. It is the descendant of Realme Buds Q launched in 2020, but this time it is designed as a budget earbud.
Realme Buds Q2 Overview
Q2 has a unique design with up to 20 hours of playback. It features a dedicated game mode that delivers low latency of 88ms for smooth synchronization. The box includes a charging case with micro-USB port.
Design and Build Quality
The earbuds have a pebble like structure and an in-ear design with a kaleidoscope coated finish over the touch control section. Each earbud weighs around 4.1g and fits comfortably in the ear. It weighs 39g with charging case.
The charging case is egg-shaped with LED indicators to alert battery drainage. It is IPX4 certified dust and water splash resistant. Q2 has a new color addition alongside the previous: Black and Blue.
Features
Q2 earbuds have customizable touch controls to play or pause music, answer or end calls, and enter or exit gaming mode. They support Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity that allows you to connect with your phone and listen to music. The wireless earbuds support AAC and SBC audio codec.
It features a 10mm dynamic driver with a premium PEEK&TPU Polymer Composite Diaphragm and a new Bass Boost+ enhancement for amazing sound quality. Q2 has no Active Noise Cancellation but provides ‘Environmental Noise Cancellation’ during phone calls. The game mode significantly reduces audio latency and offers an immersive in-game audio experience.
Battery
The battery capacity of Q2 is still to reveal; according to Realme, it can last for 5 hours of music time and provides an additional 20hour backup with the charging case. It takes about 100 minutes for the earbuds and about 2.5 hours for the charging case to fully charge an empty battery. You can get up to 120 minutes of power backup with just 10 minutes of charging. It comes with a micro-USB port instead of the more convenient USB Type-C port.
