Xiaomi unveiled Poco F3 on 22nd March 2021, along with Poco X3 Pro. Poco F3 is the rebranded version of the Redmi K40, which was launched in China last month. On 25th May 2021, Poco F3 was launched in Nepal. The price of Poco F3 in Nepal is NPR 46,999 for the 6/128 GB variant and NPR 51,999 for the 8/256 GB variant.
Poco F3 Overview
Poco F3 has a good build quality and a powerful processor. It also has a great design and a good battery.
Design and Build Quality
Poco F3 has a 6.67-inches bezel-less E4 AMOLED display. The high-end screen material of Poco F3 reduces power consumption by 15%. A 120Hz refresh rate makes the display smooth for reading or playing. It has a 360Hz touch sampling rate.
Poco F3 has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It flaunts an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a brightness of 1300 nits. Similarly, it measures 163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8 mm.
It has Gorilla Glass 5 on the back with a curved edge. The glassy finish is shiny and mirrors alike. Also, the front has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone has three-color variants: Arctic White, Night Black, and Deep Ocean Blue. It weighs 196 grams.
A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is available on the right side. An AI Face unlock is also available.
Performance
Powering the phone is Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 with 7nm process technology. It has a core speed of 3.2GHz.
Poco F3 has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The memory configuration options of Poco F3 are 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage. The internal memory is non-expandable. Adreno 650 GPU handles the graphics of the smartphone.
Poco F3 runs Android 11 based on MIUI 12 for POCO.
Due to the LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus, the processor is cooled immediately after carrying out heavy tasks. It has a three-dimensional heat dissipation system, which diffuses the heat efficiently.
Camera
An AI triple-camera on the rear consists of a primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a macro camera. The main camera of the smartphone is a 48 MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture. Likewise, the ultra-wide camera is an 8 MP lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 119-degree field of view. Finally, the macro camera is 5 MP with an f/2.4 aperture.
The videos from the main camera are recordable up to 4K at 30fps.
Poco F3 has a selfie camera of 20 MP with an aperture of f/2.5. The video from the selfie camera is recordable in 1080p at 30fps and 720p at 120fps.
Battery
Poco F3 packs a Li-Po 4520 mAh battery. It supports 33W fast charging. According to the advertisement, a 100% charge is filled in 52 minutes.
It gives 268 hours of standby, 10 hours of gaming, 14 hours of videos, and 149 hours of music.
