Samsung has launched its new flagship smartphone S20 Ultra in Nepal. The phone comes with one year of breakage insurance, which is fascinating to the users.
The phone has everything in terms of hardware and software and is pretty popular with business users as it comes with a Stylus pen. Let’s take a look at its specifications, camera, storage, and battery life to know about this flagship smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Overview
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is one of the latest and expensive smartphones in the Note line series. With 6.9 inches flat Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, the phone comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. The bezels line is super thin, and the edges are quite boxy. A punch hole can be found in the front of the display housing the front camera, and also, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Design
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra very much justifies its price as the phone comes with a full-fledged glass body with metal frames in it.
The fascinating feature about Note 20 Ultra in terms of design is its usage of the new Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which is far safer than the Gorilla Glass 6. So you don’t need to get stressed if you drop it even from the height of 2 meters.
Likewise, the Note 20 Ultra has a rectangular bump at the back panel of it housing the triple camera lens along with the LED flashlight. The phone has a matte finish and is available in three different colors – Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black, and Mystic White.
Alongside there is an introduction of a new IP68-certified S pen. The pen is kept on the left side of the phone.
With the phone, the S-pen has also been upgraded. This time the input latency has been reduced to fives time, which is just 9ms. It feels like writing on paper with the stylus.
Display
The display Samsung Note 20 Ultra has a 6.9 inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen. With a 120Hz refresh rate, it lets you have an amazing screen experience. The resolution of the Samsung Note 20 Ultra is 1440 x 3088p.
The other interesting feature of the phone is that it uses LTPO technology, which helps the phone change its refresh rate dynamically. Due to this, the phone can maintain good battery health.
Other than that, the phone has a punch hole housing the front camera and is useable on the bright sunny day also as it has a terrific 496 PPI sharpness.
Performance and Memory
Globally, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is power-packed by Exynos 990, a little inferior to that of Snapdragon 865+.
The phone with Snapdragon 865+ is only available in the US market and some Asian countries like China and South Korea. Lucky peoples. Although Exynos 990 performs very well in terms of its daily usage and the phone also does not lag even in the heavy graphics usage as Mali-G77 MP11 GPU backs it up.
In terms of memory, the phone comes with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128/256/512 GB UFS 3.1 storage in the 5G variant, whereas in the LTE(4G) models, the phone has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256 or 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage.
With this, you can expand your storage, unlike the Galaxy Note 20. The phone features UWB (Ultra Wide Band), which lets you transfer your files at a very high speed.
Camera
Talking about the cameras, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a similar camera to that of the Galaxy Note 20. The phone has a massive 108MP main sensor with PDAF and OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree FOV, and a 12 MP telephoto lens with 50x digital space zoom and 5x optical lossless zoom.
With a 108MP main sensor, you can have very sharp and beautiful images, and the 50x digital space zoom also lets you take quite workable images. But, I think the S20 Ultra camera takes a more beautiful photo than the Note 20 Ultra.
Moving on to the front, the phone has a 10MP selfie camera with Dual Pixel AF. And the 10MP front lens lets you take a video up to 4K@60fps and with the rear main sensor up to 8K @ 24fps.
Battery
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a 4500mAH battery that lives up to a day to its normal media consumption usage. The phone comes with 25W fast wired, 15W Wireless, and the phone supports reverse wireless charging. The phone would be even more convenient if it had a 45W fast charging capability.
