On 13th January 2021, Samsung unveiled its most affordable 5G smartphone as Samsung Galaxy A32 5G. The smartphone is available for purchase in Spain for the starting price of 279 EUR. Galaxy A32 5G is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A31. The phone is yet to be launched in Nepal, but we can expect the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G price to be around NPR 46,000.
Samsung Galaxy A32 5G Overview
In general, the phone selling feature is its 5G connectivity. The A series of Samsung has always impressed with its innovation, and for Galaxy A32 5G, the battery is massive, the camera setup is entirely new, and the performance is decent.
It is also the cheapest 5G phone. However, the display has some downgrade from the previous generation, but the varieties of memory storage are excellent.
Design and Build Quality
Samsung Galaxy A32 5G has a 6.5 inches HD+ TFT Infinity-V display with a resolution of 720 x 1600. The smartphone has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and the screen to body ratio of 81.6%. Similarly, the seamless design gives a subtle glow to the device with rear –camera housing in an iconic style.
The back is smooth, with each camera housing separately without any camera hump. Samsung has four color variants for Samsung Galaxy A32 5G: black, blue, violet, and white; it weighs 205 grams.
The power button on the right side accompanies the volume rockers. There is a SIM card tray on the left; it holds either two SIM cards or a SIM card and a microSD card. Following this, the top has a mic, while the bottom has a speaker, a Type-C port for charging, another mic, and a headphone jack. The front-facing camera is in a rounded teardrop notch.
The fingerprint sensor resides on the power button. It also has face recognition working very fast.
Performance
The phone is powered by MediaTek MT6853 Dimensity 720 5G. Samsung Galaxy A32 5G combines Octa-core processing power with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. Mali-G57 MC3 handles the graphics. Frame Booster provides smooth graphics for gaming. Also, the Game Booster adapts to your usage pattern to optimize the battery, its temperature, and memory.
Samsung Galaxy A32 5G runs Android 11 based on One UI 3.0 out of the box. The One UI lets you customize the phone in a way that perfectly suits your taste.
Camera
A quad camera has 48MP primary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It has a 5MP macro camera for the details and a 2MP depth camera for customizing focus.
The ultra-wide-angle has 123- degree angle of view. The macro camera gives attention to the tiny details and discovers the missing details carefully. It applies a natural bokeh effect to the images allowing the subject to stand out from the background. Similarly, the primary camera supports up to 10x zoom and also has autofocus.
The front camera is 13MP with f/2.2 and bokeh effect. The selfie is eye-catching.
The video recording resolution of 1080p at 30fps is available from both the cameras. A slow-motion is recordable at 120 fps.
Battery
A 5,000 mAh battery lets you stay ahead of the day. It has 15W of Adaptive Fast Charging filling the battery quickly. Likewise, it takes around one hour and a half to completely charge the battery. An average of 2 days of battery life is expected.
