Oppo recently launched their new Reno 6 series with three different variants. The product has been initially released in China. We have already published an article on the two standard variants Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro. This article will provide details on the specs and features of Oppo Reno 6 Pro Plus. It is the premium version of the series and comes with slightly uplifted specifications.
Oppo Reno 6 Pro Plus Overview
Reno 6 Pro Plus comes with a 32MP front camera same as the standard variants but features a quad rear camera system instead of the triple camera. It follows a similar body design to Reno 6 Pro with a curved screen and rounded edge corner. It is powered by a Qualcomm chipset and carries the same capacity battery like Pro version with 64W Fast charging. It also supports 5G connectivity.
Design and Display
The distinct build quality of Reno 6 Pro Plus is the quad camera setup on the back which you can’t find in its other variants. Although the front has the same punch hole cut-out on the left top corner and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. It has a body thickness of 7.99mm and weighs 188 grams.
It flaunts a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with an FHD screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen has 90Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate with an aspect ratio of 20:9. For biometrics, it uses an in-display fingerprint scanner which is common in most premium level smartphones. You can find this variant in two different colors: Summer Harumi and Moon Sea.

Unlike its standard variants, Reno 6 Pro Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC chipset instead of a Mediatek mobile platform.
