Motorola has released the 5G variant of the Moto G Stylus launched a couple of months ago. The Motorola Moto G was a popular budget smartphone with many interesting features, whereas the 5G version has many similarities. Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G Overview
The upgraded version of Moto G Stylus has additional features like 5G connectivity and more powerful performance. There are also some changes in the design aspect. It comes with a quad rear camera and 16MP front camera. The processing unit integrates a Qualcomm chipset and a 5000mAh battery fuels the device.
Design and Display
The phone has a stylish looking body with a 169.8 x 77.9 x 9 mm dimension and weighs 217.5 grams. It has a plastic material with water repellant coating which the stylus holder is inbuilt. The front has a punch-hole aligned at the top left corner and a camera bump is set on the rear.
It flaunts a 6.8 inches LTPS Max Vision display with a 1080 0x 2400 pixels resolution. The screen has 375ppi pixel density with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 85% screen-to-body ratio. There is only one color choice – Cosmic Emerald.
Performance and Memory
Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset which is 5G ready with an integrated X51 5G modem. The Octa-core processor integrates two Cortex-A76 core clocked at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores with 1.8GHz speed. It is a little slower than Moto G stylus processing but the GPU is uplifted with Adreno 619.
There is a single memory configuration available with 6GB and 256GB internal storage. The internal space is expandable up to 1TB via the hybrid card slot. It runs on Android 11 with My UX on top.
Camera
The rear quad camera comprises of a 48MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.7, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 and 118° Field of View. Further, a 5MP macro camera with 4cm focus distance, a 2MP depth sensor, and an LED flash inside the camera module.
At the front, the punch-hole cutout houses a 16MP selfie camera. The rear primary camera can shoot FHD videos at 60fps and the ultra-wide camera shoots at 30fps. The front camera supports FHD video recording at 30fps.
Battery and Connectivity
The phone carries a 5000mAh battery with Fast charge technology. It supports 10W Fast charging.
In terms of connectivity, it includes 5G, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C. it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
