Launched on 11th February 2021, Motorola Moto E6i is a new entry-level smartphone. Moto E6i is a rebranded version of Moto E6s (2020) with a different chipset and OS. The price of Motorola Moto E6i in Brazil is $1099, and the expected price in Nepal is NPR 15,000. However, the availability of the phone in the other market is not decided yet.
Motorola Moto E6i Overview
Overall, the phone is very decent and suitable for the typical user. Motorola Moto E6i is Bluetooth SIG certified. It has a single RAM and storage configuration. Likewise, the phone supports 4G connectivity. It is the new device added in Motorola’s E6 series. Also, the camera and the battery are of average.
Design and Build Quality
The smartphone is built with 6.1 inches HD+ screen with 720 x 1560 pixels of resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display has a sizable bezel. Motorola Moto E6i has a dimension of 155.6 x 73 x 8.5 mm. Similarly, the phone is available in two color variants: Titanium Gray and Pink. The phone weighs 160 grams.
Around the rear, it has a dual-camera setup in the pill shape. The Speaker grille is also at the rear at the bottom. The selfie camera on the front is a U-shaped notch. The phone features a 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB charging port, mic, and speaker at the bottom. Similarly, the volume rocker and the power button are on the right side, while the SIM slot is on the left. The SIM card slot is a hybrid slot supporting a microSD card.
It has a fingerprint scanner at the rear under the logo of Motorola for authentication.
Performance
The low budget smartphone processing power comes from the Unisoc Tiger SC9863A SoC running at up to 1.6GHz. For the graphics handling, it is coupled with IMG88322 GPU. The smartphone has a 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage onboard and has a microSD card slot to expand the storage.
Motorola Moto E6i runs Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box. Android 10 is optimized to run efficiently on low power devices.
Camera
Motorola Moto E6i flaunts a dual-camera at the back featuring a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The LED flash accompanies it. The rear camera has an autofocus. The selfie camera on the front is a 5MP with an aperture of f/2.2.
Both the cameras can record video in 1080p at 30fps.
Battery
The Moto E6i packs a Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery, supporting the micro USB cable for charging. 10W of charging is supported by the battery.
