Mobvoi has launched a new smartwatch as Mobvoi TicWatch E3 on 16th June 2021. It is the toned-down version of TicWatch Pro 3, which was announced in December 2020. The official price of Mobvoi TicWatch E3 starts at $199.99 in the US. The expected price of Mobvoi TicWatch E3 in Nepal is NPR 25,000.
Mobvoi TicWatch E3 Overview
Mobvoi TicWatch E3 is an affordable version of TicWatch 3 Pro. While the smartwatch is not as premium, it has a powerful processor and other interesting features.
Design and Build Quality
The smartwatch has a 1.3-inches screen. In addition, it has an HD 2.5D curved display, which ensures a smooth screen on the edges. Similarly, the frame is made up of premium polycarbonate resulting in a durable and ultra-lightweight design.
Its chassis is made up of plastic, helping to reduce the weight of the smartwatch. As a result, it weighs just 32 grams.
The watch strap is made up of ultra-flexible silicone rubber; the quick-release mechanism lets you switch between the straps without any additional tool. In addition, the smartwatch has three color options: Black, Yellow, and Blue.

Features
Mobvoi TicWatch E3 has sensors for blood oxygen saturation, VO2Max, accelerometer, gyroscope, NFC, and GPS.
The heart rate sensor available in the smartwatch monitors the heart rate accurately in real-time. It continuously tracks your heart rate. It can also log the heart rate on a weekly graph and send an alert if it detects any irregularities.
Similarly, you can set your target heart rate zone and get notified when you reach it. It notifies with the help of a built-in speaker. It also alerts you if you exceed the zone to prevent you from overexerting.
For all-day oxygen saturation monitoring, it has four sets of the infrared LED light cluster to measure the SpO2 level by shining light into the blood vessel of the wrist.
Mobvoi TicWatch 3 lets you share your health and fitness data with a loved one to help you achieve the target health goal together. With this, you can remotely monitor the data such as heart rate, steps, sleep details, etc., of your loved one.
The smartwatch has more than twenty professional workout modes. Some are mountain climbing, taekwondo, swimming, ice skating, indoor cycling, basketball, table tennis, pilates, and high-intensity interval training.
The TicMotion Proactive Motion Tracking automatically detects the workout and tracks the health and fitness data record, including heart rate and calories. To access the fitness report, you need to use the Mobvoi app.
Likewise, the built-in GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou positioning let you navigate the routes without the phone. It also has a speaker and microphone.
Battery
The battery of 380 mAh cells fuels the smartwatch making it easier on the wrist. In addition, it has an essential mode, which kicks in automatically whenever the battery drops below 5 percent.
To keep the watch running, it also has a battery saving screen that displays only time/date and heart rate.
