Oppo Reno 2F is one of the variants of the Reno Series offered by Oppo. It was unveiled by Oppo alongside the other variants of the Reno series: Oppo Reno 2 and Oppo Reno 2Z in India in August 2020. The Oppo reno 2F was launched in Nepal amidst an event conducted on October 16, 2019.
Like its other variants, the Reno 2F offers a complete notch-less and punch hole cut out less display, thanks to its motorized pop-up camera housing. The official price of Oppo Reno 2F is Rs. 43,990 in the Nepali market.

Design and Display
The Reno series by Oppo offers a more premium look and feel to the phone design, and so is the case with Oppo Reno 2F. The design of Reno 2F is one of its greatest aspects. Its seamless no-camera bump design on the glass back gives it a truly premium look and feel.
The side frame is made from metal, providing the phone body some durability. The buttons on the phone are placed in a reachable position on both sides. The back panel and the front of the phone are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Reno 2F sports an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, which the company claims to have a 16% brighter unlock area and 11.3% faster unlocking speed. The Reno 2F is available in two color options: Sky White and Lake Green.
The Reno 2F features a 6.5 –inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels in a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Thanks to the motorized pop-up camera system and thin bezels around the sides, the phone has a screen to body ratio of 91.1%.
Performance and Memory
The Reno 2F is powered by a Mediatek Helio P70 processor and Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The Helio P70 processor is a 12nm architecture with octa-core (4×2.1 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A53).
Mediatek Helio P70 processor is an old processor, it’s nowhere the best in the current market. However, it still performs well for daily use and in terms of power efficiency.
The phone comes in the configuration of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The internal storage can be extended using an external SD card in the dedicated SD card slot. The Reno2 F runs on Android 9 pie with colorOS 6.1 on top.
Camera
The OPPO Reno 2F features a quad camera on the back containing a 48MP f/1.7 primary camera, an 8MP f/2.2 wide-angle camera, a 2MP f/2.4 mono lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.
The cameras are arranged vertically on the back panel with a bumpless design. The rear camera setup features Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).
The motorized pop-up setup at the top of the phone houses the 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The pop-up camera features free-fall protection, which senses when your phone is dropped and promptly retracts the camera.
Battery
The Reno 2F is backed up by its 4000 mAh non-removable battery and supports 20 watts VOOC 3.0 quick charging technology.

The Oppo Reno 2F has been available for purchase since October 2019, and now the price has dropped to Rs. 43,990 in Nepal for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

At this price point, the Oppo Reno 2F competes against the Mi Note 10 Lite( 6GB 128GB) since Xiaomi’s Redmi K20 PRO is not available anymore. The Mi Note 10 Lite is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, which outperforms the Helio P90 processor on the Oppo Reno 3.
