The Nokia 7.2 is a mid-range phone that comes in a premium flagship body. This phone has a good design, display, a better camera, bigger storage space, and RAM. It boasts a triple n Zeiss branded camera, a 6.3 inches HD display, and stock Android with a guaranteed three years o software updates.
Nokia 7.2 Overview
Nokia 7.2 comes with a 6.3 inches FHD + IPS LCD Display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. On top of the display, it has a waterdrop notch that houses a 20-megapixel camera front-firing speaker. There is a standard 10-watt charger, a USB type C cable, and a pair of headphones.
On the back, you have a Triple AI camera set up with Carl Zeiss optics technology, a 48megapixel primary lens, an 8megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5megapixel lens for depth sensing with flash. The phone also has a fingerprint reader.
Design and Build Quality
Nokia 7.2 is a 1080p LCD display that measures 6.3 inches Full HD IPS panel and has 159.9 x 75.2 x 8.3 mm (6.30 x 2.96 x 0.33 in) dimension with an 82.4% of screen to body ratio. It has a unique design made from a polymer that is lighter than aluminum. It has a thicker bezel than that of modern bezels on the front and a waterdrop notch.
Nokia 7.2 is initially launched with Android 9 and is currently running on Android 10 and is expected to receive Android 11 in the future. The bottom-firing speaker here is quite decent and weighs 180gram. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that is very fast and accurate. The phone is available in three colors: Cyan Green, Charcoal, and Ice.
Performance
The Nokia 7.2 ships with the Snapdragon 660 Octa-Core CPU clocked at 2.2GHZ. Even though it’s not the latest and greatest, but is still a powerful mid-range chip. Nokia 7.2 comes with 4/6 gigs of RAM coupled with 64 gigs of onboard storage. In addition, it has a microSD card dedicated to providing external storage if needed.
Camera
Coming to optics, Nokia 7.2 has three rear cameras. The primary is 48megapixel snapper with an F 1.8 lens and has a dynamic range and a crisp detail. This phone has a feature of suggesting to switch over the night mode when the light is good enough. The 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera also has a night mode.
The third sensor that’s 5megapixels for depth detection and comes with some cool portrait effects. A significantly raised camera bump has a Zeiss branding. For the selfie camera, it has 20-megapixel. Talking about the hardware side, it has 4k 30fps video recording through the primary rear shooter.
Battery and Connectivity
Nokia 7.2 has a combination of 3500Mah Li-Po non-removable battery giving 10-watt charging speed.
There is a dedicated Google Assistant button and a 3 in 1 Tray that has 2 4G/LTE Nano SIMs and an SD card on the Left. You have a volume rocker and a power button that lights up as a notification LED on the right. You have a primary microphone, a USB type C port, and a speaker grille on the bottom. On the top, you have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a secondary mic.
