Nokia has managed to firmly establish itself as a reliable smartphone maker after its fall with the establishment of HMD global. Paramount Electronics, the official distributor of Nokia devices in Nepal, has launched budget-friendly device Nokia 3.2 along with the Nokia 2.2.
Nokia 3.2 is a budget-oriented device under the Nokia 3 series. The official price of Nokia 3.2 in Nepal is Rs. 16,490 for the configuration of 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage configuration.
Nokia 3.2 Overview
Nokia 3.2 is an improved and upgraded version of Nokia 2.2 with a bigger display and larger battery capacity, fingerprint sensor, and more.
Design and Display
Nokia 3.2 has a very similar design to Nokia 2.2. It also has a plastic body with a shiny finish, a thickness of 8.6mm, and weighs 181 grams. The back panel features a fingerprint sensor.
It offers a 6.26-inches IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels in a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen is surrounded by noticeable bezels, especially at the bottom chin, which also features the company logo. It features a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera.
Performance and Memory
The Nokia 3.2 smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 chipset with Adreno 504 GPU. The Snapdragon 429 is a quad-core processor with 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53, which is better than the chipset used in Nokia 4.2.
The device is available in the memory configuration of 3 GB RAM coupled with 32 GB of internal storage and offers a dedicated microSD card slot that can be used to extend the memory of the device to 400 GB. As for the software, it runs on Android 9.0 (Android One).
Camera
The rear camera setup on the device is similar to that of Nokia 2.2, consisting of a single 13 MP camera of f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera on the device is a 5 MP sensor of f/2.2 aperture. This selfie camera is also used for face unlock on the device. The rear camera setup on the device is able to capture 1080p videos at 30 fps.
Battery and Other Features
The phone packs a 4000 mAh non-removable battery with 10W charging. For biometrics, the device offers a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock. For connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, MicroUSB 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
