After the launch of the Redmi Watch exclusively in China back in 2020, Xiaomi launched Mi Lite Watch in Nepal for an affordable price as its rebranded version. This contributes to expanding Xiaomi wearable lineups in Nepal and aids budget-conscious smartwatch lovers.
Mi Watch Lite Overview
Mi Watch Lite comes in a square-shaped body with a plastic back and a plastic frame, and a strap with several color choices. A 2.5D curved glass panel on a matte texture body, fitted with metallic buttons and a matching skin-friendly TPU material strap, constitutes the minimalist design of Mi Watch Lite.
Design and Display
Weighing around 35 grams with a strap, Mi Watch Lite is 5 ATM water resistance certified. It is available in over 120 watch faces and customizations.
Mi Watch Lite features a color touch display with 1.4 inches TFT LCD panel and a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels that produces 323 PPI pixel density. The watch covers 60% of the NTSC color gamut and supports brightness levels up to 350 nits with auto adjustment.
Fitness tracking and Sensors
Mi Watch Lite has been programmed to keep track of 11 different workout modes, including outdoor running and cycling, indoor cycling, treadmill, open water, and pool swimming, freestyle, trail run, trekking, and walking.
Mi Watch Lite is equipped with a PPG optical sensor for accurate heart rate detection and recording its fluctuation. It also supports sleep monitoring and provides breathing exercises.
Power supply, Connectivity, and GPS
Mi Watch Lite is powered by an average 230mAH battery, which Xiaomi claims to have nine days long backup endurance on regular usage. It uses a magnetic charger and takes only two hours to charge 100%.
The watch also has a built-in GPS navigation feature and can measure trajectory, speed, and distance. It doesn’t support Wi-Fi connectivity but has Bluetooth 5.0 compatible with Android 5+ and iOS 10+ devices.
