After back to back launches of Coolpad S, Coolpad N7 Plus, and Coolpad Cool 6, the company has yet again launched CoolPad Cool 10 smartphone in Nepal.
The Coolpad Cool 10 is a budget-oriented smartphone that promises some high-level specs. The phone is a successor to the Coolpad 9, which was not available in Nepal. The Coolpad Cool 10 was launched via Daraz in Nepal at the price of Rs. 16,595 for the 4/64 GB variant.
Coolpad Cool 10 Overview
Coolpad Cool 10 is the successor to the Cool 9 which was not launched in Nepal. The Cool 10 features an Helio P60 chipset and offers an interesting specs sheet for its price.
Design and Display
The Coolpad Cool 10 features a dual 3D radian intimate glass and smoothed curve design, making it comfortable to hold. The rear panel features a left-aligned camera module to house the triple camera setup. The device is available in three colors: Science Blue, Seashell White, Glazed Black.
The device measures 9.1 mm in thickness and weighs 202.8 grams. The power button and volume keys are placed on the phone’s right frame, with a fingerprint sensor and SIM slot on the left edge. Similarly, the type C charging port is placed on the bottom frame and a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the phone’s top frame.
The device offers a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels in the aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with the pixels per inch density of nearly 264 ppi. The screen features a waterdrop notch to house the single front camera.
Performance and Memory
The Cool 10 is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 chipset and Arm Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The Helio P60 is an old processor with an octa-core with four Arm Cortex-A73 up to 2.0 GHz and four Arm Cortex-A53 up to 2.0GHz cores. However, it can still handle most daily tasks. The device is available in the memory configuration of 4 GB RAM coupled with 64 GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 10 out of the box.
Camera
The Cool 10 features a triple camera setup on the back containing a 16 MP primary camera, a 0.3 MP macro lens, and a 0.3 MP Portrait lens. The cameras are arranged vertically inside the camera module along with the LED flash. Upfront, the camera is an 8 MP sensor, which is housed inside the waterdrop notch.
These camera setups can record videos up to 1080p at 30 fps.
Battery
The Cool 10 is backed up by a massive 5000 mAh battery. The phone charging port is a Type C port, and there is no support for fast charging.
It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the phone’s left frame, with a separate power button on the right frame.
